FPA: Day 1

Hello,

So today is kind of a slow day, since we are just starting.  I just wanted to make some random posts.

1. Myself, John and Brian have been on a hunt to find cell phones for the past week.  Out of desperation, we went to a store called Dick Smiths (it's kind of like a small Best Buy) and bought the last three prepaid phones.  After purchasing them, we looked on the side of the box and noticed that they were "Valentine Pink".  Therefore, the three of us have hot pink cell phones.

(The person to the right of me is Dan.  He looks very unenthusiastic.)

Until further notice, the phones must stay pink but we are going to be looking for some black spray paint ... oh, and they have flowers on them too.

2. Vegemite is the most disgusting stuff you can eat.  It's like taking break, turning it into a paste, adding a LOT of salt, then spreading it back onto bread.  Absolutely horrible.  Avoid at all costs.

3. The hotel we are staying at has a camera that points towards the entrance of the hotel and can be watched on the TVs in the rooms.  That being said, we're having a lot of fun with that.

OK, I'll explain:

So one of the rooms (Room 1010, to be exact) constantly watches the channel with the security cameras to see who's coming into the building and who's leaving.  It's kind of creepy.  Two nights ago, about 16 of us were sitting in a room and someone came up with a "great idea".  They made a sign that said, "Call Room 1010 for a good time".

Then they sent someone down to hold it up in front of the camera.  Guess who that "someone" was.

Anyways, time to do some work now.  Later.
